The Natural Casings & Curved Loader

One of our newer robotic autoloaders fills a special niche in certain protein production lines – meet the DrakeLoader SR-400, whose special sorting system is designed to handle curved product such as natural casing sausages. It’s built to quickly and reliably align sausage links, specifically, for robotic placement into packaging pockets. The high-speed end of arm tooling (EOAT) robot has a 3kg payload and is made with high-quality materials that last, so you can remove human contact on part of your line without compromising throughput.

Details

This compact machine offers the hygienic design benefits of Drake’s other launcher style loaders – with hygiene and safety in mind, all areas with moving parts of the SR-400 are both completely guarded and easy to access for wash down. With a maximum noise level of less than 80 dB, it is relatively quiet industrial equipment that is built out of 86.3% rugged, stainless steel capable of withstanding RTE industrial sanitation standards for decades to come.

Applications

The ahead-of-the curve SR-400 pairs with your existing cutter or barrel de-linker to load up to 400 natural casing sausages per minute, for products up to 200mm in length. The Drake Loader SR-400 is ideal for packing lines operating at .6 to 1 ton per hour capacity and can load both bulk and retail packages. Multiple count and multiple layers are easily and quickly changed from one package or product to another from the HMI controls.
