Why do by hand what this machine was built to do?

The PS-60 takes whole muscle proteins and automatically adds a space between the pieces to support packaging, X-Ray devices, and other processes on the line. It takes pileups of poultry and perfectly separates them into individual pieces on the conveyor to reduce labor needs.

Details

As batches of poultry pieces (or whole birds) are processed, they can pile up in bulk. The bulk parts enter the singulator touching, and exit the singulator spaced apart. The PS-60 aids further processing equipment, such as x-ray machines, that need to receive singulated product for the most efficient processing. Singulation enables equipment to reject only one piece of product at a time, rather than several pieces all at once, which significantly reduces product rework. This clever unit can be designed to accommodate a variety of product sizes.
